Summary of features

Wall-hung basin and taps provide a central focus to the room with symmetry on the window wall.
Wall-mounting creates a more spacious look...and makes cleaning easier!

The separate areas of the room are linked by using various textures of white on the walls - creating feelings of spaciousness and calmness in the room

A white hi-gloss vanity unit was created to provide touch-open storage while concealing cistern and plumbing

The vanity top was designed to run into the window sill for a more elegant integration - and topped with beautiful Carrara marble

To 'ground' the scheme and to contrast the white , a solid Rhodesian Teak floor was chosen for it's striking beauty combined with water-repelling properties

An LED effect light under the bath accenuates the width of the room whilst high-lighting the natural warmth and beauty of the teak

A mirror wall doubles the feeling of space in the room

The waterfall bath filler is mounted on the mirror, so that the water appears to run out of the mirror!

Separate deck-mounted valves control the flow of water to the mirror-mounted waterfall bath filler and to the separate hand held shower head (hidden behind the end of the vanity unit - reflected in the mirror)

A round magnifying vanity mirror with light was mounted to the side to avoid blocking light from the window

A huge 700 mm wide towel warming radiator was chosen for all the family's towel-drying needs.
It has an electric heating element for use in the summer when the central heating is off

A large, bespoke walk-in shower was created using toughened glass and a tile-over tray former. The shower control is to the right, where it can be controlled before stepping under the spray head!

The light has an integral extractor

This corner of the room was 'appropriated' to facilitate a shower in the adjacent en-suite!

Simple matt white tiles provide a more calming and elegant feel to the usual glossy ones

Cole & Son's birch tree wallpaper adds definition and colour while playing with the perspective, as it is repeated in the mirror on the opposite wall

The adjacent en-suite uses the same calm palette to create a clean, bright and elegant space; Carrara marble, Rhodesian teak, mirror and various textures of white.
The new shower enclosure is to the left

Wall mounting the sanitaryware enhances the feeling of spaciousness and makes cleaning easier
